Cupping will often leave circular bruising due to capillaries breaking under the skin. Cupping is not recommended for those who are pregnant, have a pacemaker, are on blood thinners, have DVT, are experiencing an acute infection, blood clotting disorders, any type of organ dysfunction, have certain skin conditions, or have cancer. While working supine you will be supported in a semi-reclined position.
